The rise during the share of the euro in overseas currency-denominated credit card debt issued was pushed by strong advancement in both of those euro-denominated financial loans and bonds. Issuance of financial loans and bonds grew by greater than 40% in 2024, reaching the highest combined level considering that the global fiscal crisis of 2007-09
